Commercial
TriVAN is not only residential roofing experts but we also have many products and services to offer our commercial clients. TPO and Liquid Applied are a few of the new money saving roofing system technologies that TriVAN has adopted. These are proven systems that work more efficiently and safer than the traditional “hot tar” type systems that most commercial customers are use to.
Here you will see Dave Custable – the owner of TriVAN Roofing – walk you through the many advantages of using these systems as well as valuable information for anyone with a commercial roof.
Fluid Applied
Step One
Here, Dave explains the first step of the Fluid Applied System which includes some money and time saving benefits and features of the technology.
Step Two
Roof preparation involves power washing and minor cleaning. Systems like HVAC and other units that reside on the roof would usually need to be removed if a traditional “hot fluid” system is used. This is an expensive and time consuming step that can be avoided using the Fluid Applied Roofing System.
Step Three
Dave notes how conventional systems fail due to excessive heat around HVAC systems – something that is a non-issue with the Fluid Applied Technology.
Step Four
After the roof has been prepared and cleaned, the foundation application portion of the system is applied.
Step Five
The application of the foundation and mesh includes vertical structures like walls and any roof penetrations that need to be protected against water infiltration.
Step Six
Benefits of the Liquid Applied System include the ability to work around A/C units and other items on the roof while still providing a watertight seal to the roof.
Step Seven
Outside air conditioner units are also protected by the product.
Step Eight
Dave provides an explanation of the field coatings after the walls have been completed.
Step Nine
As the final phase of the project, the finish coat will increase the longevity of the product. Dave also explains how this phase will provide the warranty coverage directly from the manufacturer.
Step Ten
Conclusion of the project. Dave explains how the roofing contractor will have to be certified to apply the product. He also mentions that the property owner could qualify for a tax deduction just by using this technology.
